of our Speaker’s Series with:
Stratos
Lambos
Chef, Entrepreneur and Restaurant owner
I am delighted to invite you to
meet Charlotte Chef and Restaurant owner Stratos Lambos,
who will share with us his experience of being an entrepreneur,
founding his own restaurant group as well as his most recent
successes.
Stratos Lambos, the son of a New York City
restaurateur, was raised to view food as an art form and attended
the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. where he
met his business partner Angelo Kaltsounis, the son of a Charlotte
restauteur. He also earned a business degree in hospitality
management in Florida. Stratos then moved to Atlanta to open
Kyma, a Buckhead Life Group restaurant with Pano Karatassos,
his college roomate and son of a famous Atlanta restaurateur.
Karatassos senior became his mentor and advised him in concepting
a new restaurant with an upscale Greek and Italian mingled theme:
Ilios Noche, which opened in Charlotte's Ballantyne area in
2003. Leveraging his well-rounded experience in the restaurant
industry, he launched its Chef-Driven Catering Company in 2006,
Stratos Restaurant Group, launched Nolen Kitchen in Myers Park
in 2006, then concepted and created Big View Diner Lounge, which
opened in the Ardrey Kell area in 2009.
