The Value of Your BGS Membership...

Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma does not end when you receive your pin and certificate, nor does it end when you walk the stage and pick up your diploma. Beta Gamma Sigma membership is for a lifetime. And as such, BGS strives to provide a lifetime of benefits for the Society’s membership.

In order to better serve the Society’s membership, BGS regularly conducts member surveys (in conjunction with Bloomberg Businessweek) to gain better insight into who Beta Gamma Sigma members are and what needs they might have. One result that stood out from the most recent survey was the discovery that 76 percent of BGS members have completed some form of post-baccalaureate education, receiving their master’s degree or higher.

While there was never any doubt that BGS members are highly educated individuals, the quantification of this fact was remarkable. That said, if you are reading this article now, there is a very good chance that you have already earned your MBA or equivalent degree. If you haven’t there is an excellent chance that you will be in the relatively near future.
