KPMG also offers a top internship program, providing undergraduate and graduate students with the individual attention needed and the substantive experience expected from an internship. Our internships include a chance to participate in the following programs:

• Global Internship Program: With KPMG's award-winning Global Internship Program (GIP), you can work abroad and see what it really takes to be a global professional. The GIP gives you the opportunity to gain work experience with two KPMG member firms. You'll begin your internship here in the U.S. then spend four weeks on global assignment.
  
• Build Your Own Internship Program (BYOIP): BYOIP allows students to intern with KPMG in two practices (Audit, Tax, or Advisory) instead of one. To build their internship, participating students select one "Core Practice" and one "Developmental Practice", allowing them to spend time in both throughout their internship. Within their Developmental Practice, interns will work on a variety of client engagements in order to gain a thorough experience. Participants will be assigned a performance manager who will assist in goal setting, give regular feedback, and ultimately help the intern decide which practice to pursue a career.  
  
• Intern Community Service Challenge: All of our interns are invited to participate in our National Intern Community Service Challenge (ICSC). Participating teams plan and execute a community service event in their local area. The ICSC is another avenue for developing skills such as leadership, networking, teamwork, and communication that are relevant to a successful business career, all while giving back to the community. Winning intern teams participate in a volunteer project in New Orleans at the end of their internship.

Each summer, KPMG offers opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills and gain new perspective on public accounting through one of our summer leadership programs. These unique programs, offered at both the national and local levels, allow students to: explore career opportunities with KPMG, network with other student leaders and KPMG professionals; and get a head start on the campus recruiting process.
