Beta Gamma Sigma will mark its 100th year as an Honor Society in 2013. The Centennial Celebration will officially kick off on the Society’s 99th anniversary – February 19, 2012 – and will run through the end of 2013.
BGS has several projects and programs in the works to recognize this momentous occasion, and to better engage with you – the Society’s lifetime members.

As
a truly international honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma
members are found around the world. To capture this
in pictures, members are encouraged to send photos of
themselves taken with an exclusive Centennial icon.
This icon is a stuffed “wise owl” named
after President Professor Elwell.

Imagine
the level of charity that could be accomplished if only
5 percent of Beta Gamma Sigma’s 675,000 members
volunteered their time. Now imagine what would happen
if that number doubled or tripled. How many hours could
be donated? How many organizations could be served?
What impact could be made? Beta Gamma Sigma wants to
know. Beta Gamma Sigma is a powerful organization with
extremely talented and knowledgeable members, and BGS
Gives Back will provide the opportunity to demonstrate
the positive impact the Society and its members have
on the world.
