As a truly international honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma members are found around the world. To capture this in pictures, members are encouraged to send photos of themselves taken with an exclusive Centennial icon. This icon is a stuffed “wise owl” named after President Professor Elwell.

Beta Gamma Sigma was formed as a national organization on Feb. 19, 1913 from the merger of three campus organizations at the University of Wisconsin (Beta Gamma Sigma), University of Illinois (Delta Kappa Chi) and University of California (the Economics Club).
