BGS Chapter Anniversaries
As
Beta Gamma Sigma plans for its centennial celebration
in 2012-2013, it’s important also to recognize
collegiate chapters that are celebrating significant
anniversaries in 2011. If your BGS chapter is
approaching a significant anniversary (5th,
10th, 20th, 25th, 50th, etc.), we suggest marking
the occasion with a special event. Celebrating
your chapter’s anniversary is a great
way to promote your business school, BGS chapter,
and your business program’s top students.
BGS Chapter Anniversary Celebration Ideas:
- Host a special
event (with a speaker, panel discussion,
etc.) and invite all BGS members on campus – student, faculty, administration
– and BGS member alums who live in
the area. The Central Office can assist
you in locating these members. Contact Donna
Binek at dbinek@betagammasigma.org and tell her what you’re interested
in doing. She is happy to help you plan
for this important event.
- Inquire about
the BGS Anniversary Plaque available for
this special occasion.
- If your anniversary
is in 2011, hold a special event in conjunction
with Founders’ Week.
- There are
many BGS logo items available at the BGS
Store (balloons, cups, etc.)
that may help you mark the occasion.
