Beta Gamma Sigma Student Leadership Forums

Beta Gamma Sigma members are privileged to have access to many tools and resources that will help them as they begin to travel down their career path. One particular event that continues to challenge students to open their minds to their own strengths is the Beta Gamma Sigma Student Leadership Forum.

The Student Leadership Forum, which debuted in 2001, brings together student members from colleges and universities around the globe for a chance to improve their leadership skills. Through a variety of introspective and group activities, participants are able to examine questions such as "What Kind of Leader Will I Be?"

The Student Leadership Forum is a positive step forward in the professional lives of those taking part. But, don't just take our word for it - here's a few quotes from recent SLF participants:

"The SLF was not only about leadership, but it challenged me to think about who I am, who I want to be, and what I need to do to become it. It was a life changing experience in more ways than one"
Sara Hanson
The College of New Jersey, Winter 2011 Participant

“The BGS Student Leadership Forum was so helpful in helping me decide what type of person, professional, and leader I will be. I left invigorated and motivated to apply what I learned – the value of cooperative teamwork, goal setting, vision creation, and self-awareness – to improve my community."
Andrea Schronce
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Spring 2011 Participant

"I have attended many leadership conferences, but the BGS Forum was a truly life-changing experience."
Linn Baumgardt
James Madison University, Fall 2010 Participant

“This event has definitely impacted me deeply. The profound revelations and insight I gained through this experience will have a long lasting place in my life, both in a leadership capacity and on a personal level."
Scott McWilliams
Lamar University, Fall 2010 Participant
