Perhaps you have an event coming up, and would like to present that special guest speaker with a nice token of your chapter's appreciation. In either case, your first stop should be the BGS Store. Items at a variety of price points are now available at the store, befitting any occasion. What about apparel you might ask. Well ask and ye shall recieve. The BGS Store offers logo apparel suitable for every BGS member, from our newest collegiate inductees to our most professional CEOs. Let your students know about the BGS Store, as several items on the site have been created with just them in mind. The BGS Store is also your source for BGS Graduation Merchandise and many collegiate chapter supplies. Please note: Effective January 1, 2007, payment of items purchased through the BGS Store will be required prior to shipment. The Central Office will no longer be involved in the payment process for items sold at the BGS Store. To expidite the purchase process, chapters are encouraged to get a BGS credit card, which can be used at the site (any credit card can be used). The BGS Store will also accept payment by check or a school purchase order. B-Mails In order to keep the collegiate chapters informed of Society goings-on and pertinent news and information, as well as to help your chapter run more smoothly, the Central Office will be continuing the use of Beta Gamma Sigma B-Mail in 2006-07. These regular messages will include information regarding upcoming programs and activities, as well as helpful hints for chapter success. Make sure your chapter doesn't miss out on any breaking Society news or special opportunities! Be sure to read each B-Mail issue! Custom Banner Printing The BGS Central Office is pleased to once again be offering custom banner printing for its collegiate chapters. For a fraction of the price that it costs to order similar banners at a commercial print shop, chapters can choose from four banner styles. All banner graphics have been designed using high quality vector graphics, which produce a clear non-pixelated printed image, and are printed on a durable material. Banners can be ordered from the Central Office using the Chapter Collection Supply Order Form available on BetaNet. Additional information is available by clicking here. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Founders' Week With the fall semester now underway, the stream of papers and tests coming across your desk will only increase in the weeks to come. That said, there is no better time than now to start making plans for Founders' Day. February 19, 2007 will mark Beta Gamma Sigma's 94th year as an honor society, so special Founders' Week activities should be scheduled from February 18-24. Start planning now for ways to promote BGS by commemorating Founders' Week on your campus. A list of suggested Founders' Week activities is available on BetaNet, and can be viewed by clicking here. Beta Gamma Sigma will once again provide each collegiate chapter with access to a special Founders' Week PowerPoint presentation.
