Student Leadership Forums

The Society is busy planning the 2006-07 BGS Student Leadership Forums. We have just a half-dozen spaces remaining for the Fall 2006 Forum, scheduled for November 2-5 in Coral Springs, Florida. If you are interested in sending a student to this event, please contact Mary Wiedman quickly at mwiedman@betagammasigma.org. We have had a very good response for this event, and there are very few spaces left.

The Spring 2007 Student Leadership Forum is scheduled for February 8-11, and chapters should be notifying the Central Office as soon as possible about their desire to send a student to St. Louis, Missouri for the event. The early registration deadline, which will save the chapter $50 off the regular registration cost of $500, has been extended to October 1, 2006. You don't need to select a student now, but if you know your chapter will participate, it's a great time to go ahead and contact Mary with that information. As always, the 2006-07 Student Leadership Forums will be a highlight of this year's calendar, and will offer your best students a great opportunity to develop additional leadership skills.
