BGS Member Benefits
By now most of you know quite a bit about the Beta Gamma Sigma affiliate partnerships and the member benefits and discounts that come with them. These affiliate relationships have become very important for the honor society because they help finance many of the Society’s programs and activities, while also providing additional value to BGS lifetime membership. BusinessWeek and Fortune
For several years new members have received one-year subscriptions to both BusinessWeek and Fortune magazines. All new members of Beta Gamma Sigma - students, faculty, etc. - are eligible to receive the subscriptions. BusinessWeek provides all new members a one-year subscription in either the print or digital format as part of their BGS membership. For those with a U.S. mailing address, Fortune offers a similar one-year subscription. As you're speaking to eligible students, be sure they know about these and other valuable member benefits. Letting outstanding students know the additional value of membership is a great way to increase the rate of those accepting the lifetime membership.
