2009 BGS Chapter Anniversaries
 If your Beta Gamma Sigma Chapter has a significant anniversary coming up (5th, 10th, 20th, 25th, 50th, etc.), consider making it a special event. This is a great way to get publicity for your business school, your BGS chapter, and the very best students in your business programs.
To start, you may consider holding a special event (with a speaker, panel discussion, etc.) that can be hosted by the BGS chapter. Be sure to invite all BGS members on campus – student, faculty, administration – plus BGS member alums who live in your area. The Central Office can help you find these alums if you wish. Just contact Donna Binek at dbinek@betagammasigma.org and tell her what you’re interested in doing.
You can also contact Donna to inquire about a special Anniversary Plaque that is available for these special occasions. She would be happy to help you as you plan for this important event.
If you are just in the planning stages and your anniversary is in 2009, you may consider holding your special event in conjunction with Founders’ Week – February 15-21, 2009. There are many BGS logo items available at the BGS Store (balloons, cups, etc.) that may help you mark the occasion.
