Collegiate Chapter Training Seminars
 Beta Gamma Sigma holds Collegiate Chapter Training Seminars to help its chapter advisors and other chapter contacts as they prepare for, invite, and induct new members each year. The Society recommends that each chapter send a representative to one of these Training Seminars every few years, and it's a great idea for new chapters to see how others have succeeded.
With each Seminar, we begin with dinner on Thursday evening and work through Seminar topics from 8:00am to 4:00pm on Friday. This schedule allows for an informal introduction to colleagues at dinner, and an interactive, informative day of learning on Friday.
For those chapter representatives who would like to pay the registration fee by credit card, we have developed a form that can be downloaded at http://www.betagammasigma.org/Forms/seminarccform.pdf. Just fill out the form and fax it back to the Central Office at 314-432-7083.
In addition, we have developed an information brochure for the 2008-09 Collegiate Chapter Training Seminars, which can be accessed at http://www.betagammasigma.org/Forms/seminarbrochure0809.pdf.
- For those chapters in Europe, the BGS 2008 European Collegiate Chapter Training Seminar is scheduled for November 13-14, 2008 in Barcelona, Spain. To download the registration form, go to http://www.betagammasigma.org/Forms/08europeanseminar.doc. The deadline to register and make lodging reservations is October 15, 2008, so get your chapter's registration turned in to the Central Office today.
- The next U.S. Collegiate Training Seminar is scheduled for spring 2009 – February 26-27, 2009 in St. Louis, Mo. (http://www.betagammasigma.org/Forms/seminarregistration0809stlouis.doc). The deadline to register and make lodging reservations for this St. Louis Seminar is February 2, 2009.
- Finally, we have another Training Seminar scheduled for March 12-13, 2009 in Dallas, Texas (http://www.betagammasigma.org/Forms/seminarregistration0809dallas.doc). The deadline to register for the Dallas Training Seminar is February 23, 2009.
