Business Achievement Award

Beta Gamma Sigma’s Business Achievement Award honors individuals for achievement in business through the traditional corporate route. This achievement may be shown through a career or singular event that has, in some way, advanced the field of business and contributed to humanity. In 2012, BGS recognized
four individuals with this award.

Dr. Robert B. Pamplin, Jr.
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, R.B. Pamplin Corporation

Chief Executive Officer, O’Connell Electric Company

Medallion for Entrepreneurship

The BGS Medallion for Entrepreneurship is awarded to individuals who have combined innovative business achievements with serving communities and humanity. While the recipients’ achievements can take place anywhere across the globe, they must be in line with Beta Gamma Sigma’s ideals. In 2012, BGS recognized four individuals with this award.

Nominations

Beta Gamma Sigma encourages chapter advisors to nominate businessmen and businesswomen who they think deserve to be recognized with a Business Achievement Award or a Medallion for Entrepreneurship. Please note that the deadline to submit nominations for either of these awards is November 30, 2012.
