Custom Banner Printing Now Available! One way that many Collegiate Chapters of Beta Gamma Sigma have spread the word about the Society has been by displaying BGS banners on campus. Student Leadership Forum Since the pioneer days, St. Louis has been known as the Gateway To the West. For those who came through the city, in those days long ago, St. Louis was seen as a passageway to new opportunities and the starting point for a new life. And while those students coming to St. Louis for the Fall 2005 Student Leadership Forum may have been traveling by plane instead of chuckwagon, their hopes for new opportunities in the "Gateway City" were no less than those of the past pioneers. Student Membership Benefits Letting eligible students know about the variety and value of member benefits is a great way to increase acceptance rates, and is especially important going into the spring. The Society has developed a wide variety of benefits that can be valuable at many stages of a lifetime member’s career. This is certainly true of student members. Board Strategic Planning The year 2005 was an interesting, dynamic one for Beta Gamma Sigma. The Board of Governors looked to the future of the honor society by coming together and holding strategic planning sessions during the summer. This was the first time the Board had held these sessions for more than five years.
