Collegiate Chapter Workshops
All faculty advisors, faculty officers and administrative liasons
are encouraged to participate in one of the 2005-2006 BGS Collegiate
Chapter Workshops. Workshop attendees will receive information and
tools that will improve the success of their chapters.
Past attendees have often commented on the usefullness of the workshop,
describing the experience as "information packed and crucial
to administering a BGS chapter well.”
Another participant said, "That was the best day and a half
I have spent in a long time. Every minute was wonderful and I learned
so much from the experience. I am now better informed, more enlightened,
and definitely prepared to enhance our own chapter and effectuate
some changes for excellence."
Workshops provide an excellent opportunity to share ideas and interact
with other Faculty Advisors and staff from the Central Office. The
workshops feature sessions to assist chapters in providing meaningful
experiences for all eligible students and to help raise campus visibility
for collegiate chapters through suggestions for publicity, publications,
displays, model ceremonies and programming activities.
BGS encourages all chapters to send representatives to one of the
spring 2006 workshops.
