Collegiate Chapter Training Seminars
 Beta Gamma Sigma holds Collegiate Chapter Training Seminars to help its faculty advisors and other chapter contacts as they prepare for, invite, and induct new members each year. The Society recommends that each chapter send a representative to one of these Training Seminars every few years, and it's a great idea for new chapters to see how others have succeeded.
With each Seminar, we begin with dinner on Thursday evening and work through Seminar topics from 8:00am to 4:00pm on Friday. This schedule allows for an informal introduction to colleagues at dinner, and an interactive, informative day of learning on Friday.
This year Beta Gamma Sigma is introducing updates and enhancements to the Online Ordering System, which was first introduced in 2006-07. Updates on using the system will be covered in detail, as will time-tested best practices, tips and tricks that can make your chapter more successful than ever.
- Our next Seminar is scheduled for February 28-29, 2008 in St. Louis, Missouri. To download the registration form, go to http://www.betagammasigma.org/Forms/seminar_stlouis_08.doc. The deadline to register and make lodging reservations is February 1, 2008, so get your chapter's registration turned in to the Central Office today.
- The Second Training Seminar scheduled for spring 2008 is March 13-14, 2008 in Tampa, FL (http://www.betagammasigma.org/Forms/seminar_tampa_08.doc). The deadline to register and make lodging reservations for the Tampa Seminar is February 18, 2008.
- A special Training Seminar, designed specifically for collegiate chapters in Europe, is scheduled for May 15-16 in Paris, France. More details will be sent later, but European Chapter Advisors should mark their calendars now to ensure it's on their schedules.
