As we’ve told you in past issues of the Connection, B-Mail and BGS International Exchange, Beta Gamma Sigma hopes to advance the discussion of – and enhance the practice of – Ethical Business Leadership in business schools, organizations and companies around the world.

Founders' Week
Founders' Week is less than a month away, and you should begin now to think about how your chapter might celebrate the occasion on your campus. A great way for your chapter to celebrate Founders’ Week this year is by planning an Ethical Business Leadership Program.

Promote Membership Acceptance
There are numerous great reasons for students to accept the invitation to lifetime membership in Beta Gamma Sigma. Often, however, those eligible don't know the reasons, so they reject the invitation. Be sure your top students know the value of lifetime membership

Collegiate Chapter Training Seminars
Beta Gamma Sigma holds Collegiate Chapter Training Seminars to help its chapter advisors and other chapter contacts as they prepare for, invite, and induct new members each year. The Society recommends that each chapter send a representative to one of these Training Seminars every few years, and it's a great idea for new chapters to see how others have succeeded.

BGS Training Webinars
While we encourage everyone to attend a Collegiate Chapter Training Seminar, sometimes it can also be great to get a quick refresher course. This year the Central Office will offer a series of BGS Collegiate Chapter Training Webinars. These short, online webinars will cover topics vital to the success of your collegiate chapters, at a time when they are most helpful.

2009 BGS Chapter Anniversaries
If your Beta Gamma Sigma Chapter has a significant anniversary coming up (5th, 10th, 20th, 25th, 50th, etc.), consider making it a special event. This is a great way to get publicity for your business school, your BGS chapter, and the very best students in your business programs.
