Beta
Gamma Sigma is hosting its 4th Virtual Career
Fair and Virtual Graduate School Fair Feburary

for students looking for a job or considering
graduate school. Participating employers
are specifically interested in attracting
BGS applicants, and each participating AACSB
accredited graduate program knows the value
of Beta Gamma Sigma membership.
Please encourage your students to participate

2010 BGS Biennial Meeting
and Deans’ Recognition Luncheon
The 2010 BGS Biennial Meeting and Deans’
Recognition Luncheon will be held Sunday
April 18, 2010 in Anaheim, California at
1:00pm in conjunction with the International
Conference and Annual Meeting of AACSB International.
The BGS Biennial Meeting includes the announcement
of official business to chapter representatives
and the election of new officers and members
of the Board of Governors. Each collegiate
chapter is entitled to send one voting delegate
to the Biennial Meeting. While the chapter
may choose their delegate, it is recommended
the collegiate chapters be represented by
an individual who is scheduled to attend
the Annual Meeting of AACSB International
(ICAM) – usually, the Dean of the
School of Business.
This is a great opportunity to learn more
about Beta Gamma Sigma and for deans to
meet with colleagues in an informal setting
before the start of the ICAM sessions.
A formal invitation with more details about
the meeting and luncheon will be delivered
to collegiate chapters in February.
Bronze Key
The
Beta Gamma Sigma Key can be a symbol of academic
excellence on your campus.
The
Board of Governors of Beta Gamma Sigma encourages
chapters to consider adding this symbol of
academic excellence to their physical plant.
The Key can be mounted either indoors or outdoors.
The base should be obtained or built locally.
Plans for a cast concrete base are available
from the Central Office, but native stone
or other materials may be used.
The Central
Office Staff is prepared to assist chapters
in fundraising efforts by providing contact
information for BGS alumni of the chapter
or potential donors in the area of the institution.
For
information concerning the purchase of the
BGS Key for display on your campus, please
contact James Viehland, Executive Director,
at jviehland@betagammasigma.org or download the
informational
Bronze Key flyer.

other collegiate chapters
have chosen to display the bronze key.
