Deadline Reminders:
Outstanding Chapter, Outstanding Chapter Advisor, and Confirmation of BGS Scholarship Program Participation

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The following BGS programs are open only to those chapters having achieved Premier or Exemplary Chapter status. If you have questions about your chapter's qualifications, please contact Peggy Barnum at pbarnum@betagammasigma.org or 314-432-5650.

BGS Scholarship Program
To participate in the 2013 BGS Scholarship program, chapters must confirm their participation with the Central Office by January 31, 2013. At this time, you do not need to provide the recipient's name; however, notice is required of the chapter's intent to participate. Only those chapters named Premier or Exemplary Chapters in 2012 are eligible to participate.

Outstanding Chapter
Chapters that qualify to compete in the 2013 "BGS Outstanding Chapter" competition MUST submit their electronic application to the Central Office by February 11, 2013. Only those chapters named Premier Chapters in 2012 are eligible.

Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award
Sponsored by the Bloomberg Businessweek B-School Connection
Applications for the "BGS Outstanding Chapter Advisor" program MUST be submitted by February 11, 2013. Eligible chapters were named either Premier or Exemplary Chapters in 2012.

2013 BGS Deans' Recognition Luncheon and AACSB ICAM

Please mark your calendars for the 2013 BGS Deans' Recognition Luncheon, scheduled for April 7, 2013. AACSB's International Conference and Annual Meeting (ICAM) will be held in Chicago from
April 7-9, 2013.

College chapter officers need to watch for when an e-mail from Beta Gamma Sigma indicates "B-Mail" in the subject line and make sure to open and read it. B-Mails contain information useful to chapters, including reminders and information on new programs that only take a short time to read.

B-Mails aresent year round, with more frequent communication taking place during the school semesters and other active periods.

To make sure you and other chapter officers and administrators receive the Connection and B-Mail, please add bgshonors@betagammasigma.org to your e-mail contact list. If this step is not taken, e-mail spam filters can prevent the B-Mail from being delivered.
