Members Learn About Themselves at BGS Student Leadership Forum

While many college students participated in the ritualized dress-up and scare-fest that is known as Halloween, 82 student members of Beta Gamma Sigma met in Baltimore, Md., to take part in the Student Leadership Forum 2003-04.

Some of the most promising young business careers got a “kick-start” as Beta Gamma Sigma held its annual Forum Oct. 30 through Nov. 2, 2003. Student members from across the country took part in programs and special sessions designed to help them in their transition from college student to business professional. More than 70 business schools sponsored students from their chapters, and participants went away impressed at the value of the program.

BGS International Exchange

With this issue of the BGS International Exchange, Beta Gamma Sigma enters a new phase in communicating with its members. While the name "BGS International Exchange" was first used for the Society’s newsletter in Spring 2003, this is the first issue that is being distributed strictly as an electronic publication. The three newsletters produced in 2003 were all printed and sent through the traditional mail.

Beta Gamma Sigma Establishes First Chapter
in Europe

Beta Gamma Sigma is pleased to announce a significant milestone event for the honor society. With a total of approximately 400 collegiate chapters, the Society installed its first chapter on the European continent at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain.
