BGS Establishes Alumni Chapters in Hong Kong and Denver

Hong Kong Chapter is the first established outside the United States.

Since its inception, the Beta Gamma Sigma Alumni Network has served BGS members by providing networking opportunities and additional valuable benefits. By establishing alumni chapters in major metropolitan areas, the Network has succeeded in developing strongly knit communities of business professionals that have one quality in common: they are all the “best in business.”

As such, efforts have been, and continue to be, made to further develop the Alumni Network so that even more Beta Gamma Sigma members can enjoy the benefits of alumni membership. In the last year, plans for two new alumni chapters came to fruition. With the addition of the Denver and Hong Kong metropolitan areas to the BGS Alumni Network, more people than ever can take advantage of the benefits of alumni membership.

The Denver Area Alumni Chapter, the 17th chapter in the BGS Alumni Network, and the first alumni chapter established since 2002, held its Chartering Reception in September 2004.

Members of the Board of Governors, Central Office staff, and Beta Gamma Sigma members in the Denver area were on hand to discuss the new chapter. Since that time, several steering committee meetings have been held in the Denver Area, and an official chapter kick-off is being tentatively planned for May 2005.

Becoming the 18th chapter in the BGS Alumni Network and the first established outside of the United States, the Hong Kong Alumni Chapter held its chartering ceremony on January 22, 2005. Beta Gamma Sigma is very proud to offer this opportunity to our thousands of members that reside in Hong Kong.

With the establishment of these two new chapters, BGS members have more opportunity than ever to enjoy the advantages of Beta Gamma Sigma membership after graduation.
