Invitation Process

Check the Chapter List to find out if your school has a chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma serving its business school.
When an individual has been notified of their eligibility to join Beta Gamma Sigma, and therefore they are invited, the following events will generally take place, with a few changes based on the chapters procedures:
- The local collegiate chapter (at the college or university) extends an invitation to those eligible for membership.
- Only those students enrolled in business programs at schools accredited by AACSB International may join Beta Gamma Sigma. To be eligible for invitation, students must be:
- last-semester juniors and rank in the upper 10 percent of their class;
- upper 10 percent of the senior class; or
- upper 20 percent of master’s classes.
- All those completing their doctoral requirements are eligible.
- Most chapters hold one induction ceremony per year, usually in the spring.
- If you think you are eligible for membership, contact the local chapter faculty advisor for requirements and details concerning the chapter’s activities. The dean’s office should be able to direct you to the chapter’s faculty advisor
