Dear Potential Member,

Congratulations on your invitation to join Beta Gamma Sigma! My name is Natalie Graf and as a lifetime member, I welcome you to learn more about the Society. By joining, you count yourself a part of the Beta Gamma Sigma member network, representing over 650,000 of the best business people from around the world. As an intern at the Central Office this summer, I wanted to personally extend my welcome and detail a few benefits Beta Gamma Sigma offers its valued members.

Many benefits are designed to meet your needs as a current student. For those with U.S. mailing addresses, a year’s subscription to Bloomberg Businessweek and Fortune magazines is provided for our members free of charge (international students can access Bloomberg Businessweek online as well!). If you’re preparing for an upcoming standardized test, you can take advantage of up to $420 discounts with Kaplan Schweser, Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, Princeton Review, and Becker.

Like most students, if you are looking for jobs or internships it is helpful to gain wisdom from other professionals. Beta Gamma Sigma provides CareerCentral so that the Society can resource its members and prepare them to succeed. CareerCentral also lists more than 2,500 job postings with organizations like HP, Mayo Clinic, Pfizer, Disney, Capital One, and Campbell Soup Company. Each of these companies (as well as so many others) recognizes the value of hiring BGS students!

Networking can seem like a daunting task; your connection with Beta Gamma Sigma is a great place to start! The online member directory, which members can register for on our website, is something to check out (http://www.memberconnections.com/olc/pub/BGS/). Our BGS LinkedIn group will connect you with other peers and professionals and also allow you to participate in discussions online about grad schools or current job postings.
