Organizational Structure
The chapters of Beta Gamma Sigma provide overall governance for the Society through the Biennial Convention with each chapter being permitted one voting delegate. The Bylaws may only be changed by authorized chapter delegates voting in the Biennial Convention or by mail ballot. The Officers and Board of Governors of the Society are elected by the delegates at the Biennial Convention. The Board of Governors functions as a board of directors, providing oversight for the Society between Conventions.
Chapters of Beta Gamma Sigma are governed by their own set of governing documents, which may not be in conflict with the Bylaws and Board Policy Manual of Beta Gamma Sigma. |
