Fall 2008 Student Leadership Forum

The Fall 2008 Student Leadership Forum was held October 30-November 2, 2008 in Tampa, FL.

“These 4 days were intellectually inspiring, motivational, and intrinsically rewarding. I met 80 other students who knew how it felt to be in my shoes at this point in my life. I’ll never forget these genuine people.”
- Joe Shannon - Susquehanna University

“Truly one of the best experiences of my life. It is very encouraging to meet and to be around people who have similar characteristics and ethics. It’s refreshing to be able to learn about yourself in an environment that promotes healthy leadership, influence, values, balance, and other life lessons. All the contacts/friends that I made this weekend will last a lifetime!”
- Missy Hampton - Valdosta State University

“I came here already asking myself many hard questions, but the Student Leadership Forum forced me to start answering them.”
- Charles Thomas - Syracuse University

“The Forum has impacted me significantly. It was eye opening, in that I never knew how many people were in the same exact position as I am – transitioning into the work world, and the anxiety it brings. It made me realize that I really don’t have to be sure of one definitive plan, as of yet. The speakers especially, Tim Clipson, were motivating and touching. Bonding and forming new networks has also been an important part of the program. It was a great privilege to be here.
- Lauren Piroso - Temple University

“This was an outstanding experience to explore my potential as a leader of my own life while discovering my limitations, my non-negotiables, and a leading question whose answer will guide the next few months of my life.”
- Lauren Austin - Santa Clara University

“This was a great experience and I truly appreciate how much this organization cares about its members.”
- Anonymous

“This weekend allowed me the opportunity to interact with some of the greatest people I’ve ever met, while also meeting myself in a new and enlightened way!”
- Jerica Youngken - Villanova University

“This weekend is about getting to know the most important person in your life, yourself.”
- Bill Gwaltney - The University of North Carolina at Greensboro

“This experience was like nothing I have ever participated in before and it amazed me. I am leaving the Forum with a new perspective on leadership and a continued passion for business. Thank you!”
- Emily Resetco - James Madison University
