Dr. Bryan J. Deptula is an award-winning researcher, Assistant Professor of Leadership and Management at Nova Southeastern University, corporate trainer, and entrepreneur. Deptula is a subject matter expert in leadership development training, executive education, closing the gap on millennial leadership, and creating powerful mentoring relationships. Before becoming faculty, Deptula was an executive and corporate trainer with over 16 years industry experience, personally training over 2000 individuals at national and international conferences. He excels at creating high energy interactive learning environments, guiding critical thinking, and transforming human potential into organizational performance.
Deptula is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi national honor societies. He is also an alumnus of Leadership Broward class XXXV, and a former Rotarian. Deptula has earned the title of an Official Expert Speaker with Vistage CEO and Executive Coaching Group, a certified facilitator with the Critical Thinking Foundation, and a certified Korn-Ferry coach of Leadership Potential. He is published in leading journals, the Leadership Quarterly and Human Resource Development Quarterly.
Deptula has traveled to more 26 countries across 5 continents. He truly enjoys the excitement of guiding people towards their best self- and organizational leadership. Working abroad for a period of over a decade, he bilingually negotiated in Mexico, Bahamas, and Jamaica and liaised with international federal and state governmental offices.
