Jodi Weiss serves as the Practice Leader for Korn Ferry Futurestep’s Nonprofit and Higher Education division. Based in Washington, D.C., Weiss has more than 20 years of leadership experience, with over a decade at Korn Ferry Futurestep, during which span she has partnered with nonprofits, associations, and higher education institutions to place executives and emerging leaders at top organizations across the nation. She has received several awards from Futurestep, including both the North America Client Satisfaction Award and the Global Innovation Challenge Award in 2012, and the North America Chief Executive Top Quality Award in 2008.
Over the last 14 years, Weiss has served as an associate and adjunct professor of English and colleges and universities in Florida and New York City and regularly contributes to publications, including Huffington Post and LinkedIn Pulse, where she writes about careers, communication, and motivation.
Weiss holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the State University of New York, a Master of Arts in English/Literature, and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Brooklyn College. She is the founder of EverythingSmart, a career coaching organization that specializes in assisting college students to professionals in career transitions. An accomplished long-distance runner with over thirty 100+ mile races completed, Weiss is affiliated with athletic organizations throughout the U.S.
