Kennis Dees is a consultant in Deloitte's Federal Strategy and Operations practice, working out of Washington, D.C. She is a graduate of the University of Florida with a dual degree in Business Administration and Classical Studies. Her last three years have been spent working with a variety of Federal agencies, creating and implementing strategic changes to drive both mission and operational functions.
Dees’ work has included the creation of a strategic framework and implementation of building more secure hospital systems, as well as working alongside agency leadership to completely transform and redesign one of the largest cabinet level agencies currently serving the American people. She has also supported international work, helping with the design of healthcare reform in an European country, as well as supporting Emergency public health task forces, including the recent outbreak of Zika both domestic and abroad.
In her non-work life, Dees is a big fan of college football, Saturday brunch, and the running trails of DC.
