Internships and Volunteer Opportunities

IBGA/TFAS Wants to Send You to D.C.
The Institute on Business and Government Affairs at The Fund for American Studies (IBGA/TFAS) has been known as a leader in the nonprofit world for 50 years. Their goal is to change the world by developing leaders for a free society. In cooperation with Beta Gamma Sigma’s mission of cultivating leadership and professional excellence, IBGA/TFAS is presenting BGS members with the opportunity to take an 8-week internship in Washington, D.C., with credit through George Mason University. Students who mention their BGS affiliation will receive an automatic scholarship of $500, and three lucky BGS members will each receive an exclusive $2000 scholarship toward this unique experience that combines real-world training with targeted networking opportunities. Beta Gamma Sigma thanks TFAS for their support and partnership!

United Planet Helps BGS Give Back
BGS members give back because we know we share a responsibility to act ethically in business and in our communities. Our members span the globe and their good works make far-reaching and long-lasting impacts. We care for our children & education, for the health of our fellow people, and for the environment. United Planet cares too, and they are offering a $500 scholarship for one student at every BGS collegiate chapter, as well as five $500 alumni scholarships. These funds will go toward sending BGS members on 1-12 week short-term “quests” to devote their gifts to helping others.
