Corporate President and Chief Executive Officer, ABM Industries
Scott is the visionary leader guiding one of the largest facility services providers listed on the New York Stock Exchange. After more than 10 years with ABM, Scott was selected to become President and Chief Executive officer, distinguishing him as only the 7th person to hold that position in the company’s 106-year history.
Under his guidance the company initiated its successful 2020 Vision business transformation that established ABM as a $6.4 billion, Fortune 500 business with more than 140,000 employees. The company has received numerous industry accolades for its transformation including recognition as one of the best employers for New Graduates by Forbes Magazine in 2018.
Before joining ABM, Scott held leadership positions managing building portfolios at Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, and CBRE. Scott has an MBA in finance from the State University of New York at Binghamton and earned a bachelor of science in business economics from the State University of New York College (SUNY) at Oneonta in 1984. He is a member of the Business Advisory Council for the School of Economics and Business at SUNY Oneonta. He also is on the Board of the Outreach Project, an organization that helps adolescents and families dealing with substance abuse addiction, and is a founding Board Member of Donate Eight, a group focused on increasing the number of organ donors in New York State.
