Check out our list of Beta Gamma Sigma Collegiate Chapters to find out if your school has a BGS chapter. For more information about us you can view our What is BGS? page and you can chat with your local Chapter Advisor directly. Don’t know your Chapter Advisor? Head to your school’s Dean’s Office and they will provide the information.

Your college or university can extend an invitation to eligible BGS members. Please note that some schools have more restrictive criteria for membership in Beta Gamma Sigma. Check with your campus’s Chapter Advisor for additional information.

Invites are sent to:

  • Undergraduates from second-semester sophomore and up in the top 10% of their class
  • Top 20% of master’s students after completing half of their program
  • Doctoral candidates who have successfully defended their dissertation
  • Transfer students who meet the above criteria and have completed one full year of coursework at their chapter’s university
  • Select business faculty members of AACSB-accredited schools

When you are eligible for Beta Gamma Sigma, you will receive an email invitation. This invite will include information on why you should join, how much membership costs and a link to your member data profile. You will use this profile to enter your data, tell BGS how to contact you and share how you would like your name printed on your membership certificate.

The membership certificate along with new member materials and key lapel pin will be given out at your chapter’s recognition ceremony. These usually occur annually, however dates and times are decided upon by each individual chapter. Please check with your Chapter Advisor for details.
