Beta Gamma Sigma offers its collegiate chapter leaders the opportunity to learn first-hand the best methods for managing your BGS collegiate chapter.

Always a valuable experience for advisors, admins and deans, the BGS Collegiate Chapter Training is a vital tool for maximizing the effectiveness of chapters. Chapter personnel can learn from Global Headquarters staff through this one demand virtual video. 

Make sure your chapter is operating at its maximum potential – and your best students (those eligible for BGS invitations) are getting all they deserve – by participating in the training. If you attended a past in-person or virtual training, you can use this video as a refresher. If you’re new to the role and have never attended a BGS chapter training, this new on-demand training is designed to provide you with the knowledge and tools needed to support your chapter's efforts while also allowing you to access the training at your own leisure.

Any faculty or staff associated with the collegiate chapter is welcome to attend. This includes:

  • Business School Deans
  • Chapter Advisors
  • Other Faculty/Staff working with the Chapter
  • Administrative Staff Members who provide assistance to the Chapter

This is a tremendous opportunity for those involved in running the chapter to learn new processes and become more familiar with BGS as a whole. If your goal is to improve both the effectiveness of your chapter and the significance of rewarding lifetime membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, this is the training for you.

Beta Gamma Sigma has changed dramatically over the last few years, and many more exciting developments can be expected in the near future. Don’t let your chapter fall behind. Representatives from your chapter should take part in the training every 2-3 years to stay updated and every 3 years to qualify for the Outstanding Chapter program. Training participants will learn details about these important programs:

    • The Society's strategic plan for the future
    • Member Benefits/Discounts
    • Chapter Awards
    • Chapter Management System





Chapter leaders can access the training through the CMS and clicking on the Collegiate Chapter Training tab. You can access the training at any time and once completed, you’ll log your completion date within the CMS. Chapters can receive points towards the honor roll program by logging your participation for the academic year.
