Meet Rubén Mendoza
Rubén A. Mendoza received a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) degree from the City College of the City University of New York in 1988. He worked for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, OH for eight years in technology gatekeeping, project management, networks & telecommunications, and video conferencing, with several internal consulting roles. He enrolled at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI), where he completed a Master degree in Business Administration from the Ross School of Business and a Master in Information Science from the School of Information, both in 1999. His Ph.D. is in Information Systems from the Lally School of Management & Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI; Troy, NY). He taught at Rensselaer at Hartford (CT) from 1999-2003 prior to joining the Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph’s University. He resides with his wife, a classically-trained cellist, and his daughter (a college Senior at SJU) in Havertown, PA.
