Beta Gamma Sigma Bronze Keys a permanent representation of the high value the institution places on academic achievement and excellence. Cast from a high-quality bronze alloy, the key weighs more than 100 pounds and stands over 52” tall, not counting the base. As of October 2023, the bronze key only comes in a satin finish.
The Board of Governors of Beta Gamma Sigma encourages chapters to consider adding this symbol of academic excellence to their physical campus. The Key can be mounted either indoors or outdoors. The base should be obtained or built locally using concrete, native stone or other materials.
Although you can choose to have your key crafted by someone of your choice, our vendor Vanguard Sculpture Services does provide crating for an additional $500. This option does prove to be more convenient. Each school will design their own base and often times this will include a plaque with the chapter’s own inscription. The price for a Bronze Key is $10,292.00 (prices are subject to change) and please note, this price does not include the $500.00 for the crate. Additionally, each school would also be responsible for shipping, as shipping charges vary based upon location. Lastly, the estimated time frame for completion is about 5 months.
